TPT29617A Dual Channel Bidirectional I2C Bus Level Shift and Repeater Features Description  Dual channel level shift and repeater for SDA/SCL Lines in I2C Applications and SMBus Compatible The TPT29617A device is a dual channel I 2C level shift and repeater function with an enable (EN) input, and work from 0.8 V to 5.5 V VREF1 and 2.2 V to 5.5 V VREF2.  Support multi-mode: Standard-mode (SM), Fastmode (FM), and Fast-mode Plus (FM+) The SCL1 and SDA1 I/O are connected to the SCL2 and SDA2 I/O, will allow bidirectional data flow between ports. If EN is low, the translator switch is off, and a high-impedance state exists between ports to isolate both sides.  Open-Drain I2C Input/Output  Latching free operation  Allows Voltage-Level Translation Between − VREF1 range 0.8 V to 5.5 V Dual channel, bidirectional buffer isolates capacitance and allows 540 pF on either side of the device at 1 MHz and up to 4000 pF at lower speeds. − VREF2 range 2.2 V to 5.5 V  5 V tolerant I2C-bus and enable pins  High-impedance SCL1, SDA1, SCL2 and SDA2 pins for EN = LOW TPT29617A is available in SOP8 and MSOP8 package, and is characterized from −40°C to +125°C.  Support Low level output current up to 30 mA  Latch-Up performance exceeds 600 mA  ESD Protection: − 7000-V Human-Body Model − 1500-V Charged-Device Model Applications  I2C, SMBus, PMBus, MDIO, UART, Low-Speed SDIO, GPIO, and Other Two-Signal Interfaces  Servers/Storages  Routers (Telecom Switching Equipment)  Personal Computers/Consumer handsets  Industrial Automation Functional Block Diagram VREF1 VREF2 1 8 TPT29617 SCL1 SDA1 2 7 3 6 SCL2 SDA2 Pull-up Resistor VREF2 5 EN 4 GND www.3peakic.com.cn 1 / 19 Rev.B.2 PDF
